A Vintage 1950s Gents Smiths Astral National 15 Wrist Watch.

Description

A vintage 1950s gents Smiths Astral National 15 wrist watch.

The watch has a hand winding movement which is ticking away nicely and the time keeping is within 2 – 3 minutes over a 24 hour period. The movement is stamped 15 jewels Made in England.

The watch measures 31.8 mm diameter excluding the winding crown and 40.6 mm high including the lugs. The chrome plated case has light surface marking from use but otherwise it is in nice condition. The case back is stainless steel.

The plastic watch lens is in nice condition.

The dial is signed Smiths Astral National 15 with Made in England at the bottom. The dial has light surface scratches / marking but otherwise it is in nice condition.

The watch has its original blued steel hands.

A new black leather strap has been fitted.

Price includes worldwide postage.

We are an on-line only business and do not have facilities for callers. Our offices are open from Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.

With regards to appraisals / valuations, we receive a huge number of information requests each day and unfortunately do not have the manpower to deal with them all individually. Our advice would be to contact a local auctioneer for a full appraisal.
