Quiet Street Antiques of Bath has dated this piece to the 1800s.
It is supported on typical Gillows turned and reeded legs with 'gadrooned' collars around the bases which lead to the "apple" shaped solid feet with original concealed castors. Dimensions: 48 wide x 27.5ins deep (122 x 70cms).
An almost identical writing table is illustrated in "Gillows of London & Lancaster" by Susan E. Stuart and a copy of an original drawing of an almost identical table is included.
