Pretty Victorian Parquetry Wine or Side Table

Description

A charming mid-Victorian parquetry WINE or OCCASIONAL TABLE of good colour and in great condition.

The octagonal shaped top is veneered with a a large number of specimen woods in the "tumbling block" pattern within a wide band of rosewood, whilst the frieze features egg-and-dart moulding around its lower edge. It is supported on a solid rosewood spirally-turned column leading to pretty rosewood cabriole legs and knurled feet. A pretty table.
