Gents 1950s Smiths De Luxe Wrist Watch

Description

Gents 1950s Smiths De Luxe wrist watch.

The watch has a hand-winding movement which is ticking away nicely and the time keeping is good to within around two minutes over 24 hours.

The watch measures 31.5mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the lugs. The case is in good condition for its age with just light surface marking and some fairly light scratches to the back.

The lens is in good condition.

The dial is signed Smiths De Luxe, 15 Jewels, Made in England. The dial is in very nice condition with blued steel hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and outer minute markers.

A new black leather strap has been fitted.

We are an on-line only business and do not have facilities for callers. Our offices are open from Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.

With regards to appraisals / valuations, we receive a huge number of information requests each day and unfortunately do not have the manpower to deal with them all individually. Our advice would be to contact a local auctioneer for a full appraisal.
