Description

A French Rosewood & brass mounted 19th Century secretaire abattant. The rouge marble top above a combination of seven serpentine drawer fronts, each veneered in rosewood with brass beading and cast floral handles and escutcheons. Each drawer lined in oak with the three top drawers having false fronts and opening to reveal a secretaire interior with a baize lined writing surface and four internal drawers. Having canted corners with cast brass mounts, with serpentine sides, cabriole supports and cast brass sabots. French circa 1880

Dimensions: 53" high x 26" wide x 13" deep

Condition: This abattant is in excellent original condition, cleaned and waxed
