Gents Antique Trench with 24 Hour Dial

1900 - 1920
Description

Gents antique trench with 24 hour dial.

The watch has a hand-winding movement which is working well and the time keeping is good to within around five minutes over 24 hours.

The watch measures 34mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the fixed wire lugs. The nickel case and glass are in good condition with just minor marks.

The white enamel dial has a short faint hairline crack underneath 11 and 12 but it is really only visible through a magnifying loupe. Blued steel hands (much of the infill has fallen out over the years), a subsidiary seconds dial and an outer minute track.

A later black leather strap has been fitted.

We are an on-line only business and do not have facilities for callers. Our offices are open from Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.

With regards to appraisals / valuations, we receive a huge number of information requests each day and unfortunately do not have the manpower to deal with them all individually. Our advice would be to contact a local auctioneer for a full appraisal.
