The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1940s.
The watch measures 36mm diameter excluding the winding crown, buttons and lugs. The case is gold plated and the condition is very good, and the tear drop lugs are a particularly handsome feature. The snap-on case back is stainless steel. The lens is in very good condition.

The signed dial is in its original finish which has a nicely aged patina. The chronograph is operated by pressing the top button to start the chrono hand and the bottom button to stop and subsequently re-set to zero. There are two subsidiary dials, one to record up to 30 minutes and the other for constant seconds.
