Pair of Antique Swedish Satin Birch Armchairs

1900 - 1920
Description

This pair of antique Swedish Satinbirch armchairs are fabulous quality & very elegant. They have just come over from Sweden & have been polished & upholstered. The solid Satinbirch frames have that typical silky finish, with the light & darker shades within the wood. The frames have a lovely shape all around the upholstery & there are small kick out feet below the legs. I would say they date to around the 1910 period, or they may be even older. This model is very hard to find & they will fit in with traditional or contemporary settings.

Depth - 26.8", 68 cm

Height - 34.7", 88 cm

Seat height - 18", 46 cm
