Description

A delightful little vanity jar with a sterling silver lid hallmarked for Birmingham 1924 together with the makers mark for the well renowned silversmith, Henry Matthews.

The lid is decorated with an exquisite yellow guilloche enamel with a bright shiny patina, showcasing the intricate engine turning below. The yellow is surrounded with an attractive silver and black enamel border, the interior of the lid is lavishly gilded.

Excellent condition measuring 2 1/4" x 1 1/2" x 1 5/8" tall.
