Antique Omega Pocket Watch, C1912

Description

An antique Omega pocket watch.

The watch has a stem-winding movement which is working nicely and the time keeping is good to within around two minutes over 24 hours. The movement is signed Omega and it has the serial number 4,294,667 which dates it back to around 1912/1913.

The watch measures 51mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is 800 silver with rose gold wash detail around the bezel and outer edge of the case back although a lot of the detail has worn off from handling and use over the years. The detail on the case back has also worn with time, and there is some unevenness.

The plastic lens is in good condition.

The white enamel dial is signed with the Omega name and logo. There is damage to the dial, mainly around the edges.

We are an on-line only business and do not have facilities for callers. Our offices are open from Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.

With regards to appraisals / valuations, we receive a huge number of information requests each day and unfortunately do not have the manpower to deal with them all individually. Our advice would be to contact a local auctioneer for a full appraisal.
