A magnificent antique Victorian balloon back chair in beautifully figured walnut. It has a beautifully carved top rail with carved foliage and scrolls to the side rails and pierced and carved back splat with acorn motifs. It stands on carved and shaped cabriole legs with flowers carved to the knees and scroll feet. A high quality antique chair with good original patina, solid and sturdy and newly Reupholstered in a jacquard fabric with a design of scrolls.
