Fowey River Antiques has dated this piece to the 1940s.
The watch is the calibre 30T2 manual wind movement which is regarded as the finest manual wind movement ever made by Omega and the same as used by the British military during WWII, as you can see it is in fabulous condition.

The fully restored sub seconds dial dial is in mint restored condition, it has steel peacock blue hands and black numbers so it is extremely easy to read. It also the Omega symbol on the crown. It has been professionally serviced and a new glass has been fitted.

As you would expect the watch is fully marked on the dial, movement and case. It comes with a brand new high quality wooden presentation box.
The serial number dates it to 1948.
It comes complete with a new premium quality chestnut brown leather strap.

Omega are one of the most exclusive watchmakers in the world and this watch certainly has that understated elegance that whispers class.
The watch case measures 34mm in diameter not including the crown.

Overall this watch is in outstanding condition and highly sought after by Omega collectors indeed it looks as if it was rarely worn.
The watch has been fully serviced by Alan Williams FBHI and is guaranteed to be a genuine Omega in all respects. It has been professionally overhauled, the process is highly detailed and meticulous.

It is stripped down to its component parts and each part is examined under a microscope for signs of wear, any worn parts are replaced with genuine manufacturers parts. Each part is then thoroughly cleaned in a three stage ultrasonic cleaning process.

The movement is then fully assembled using manufacturers approved oils and lubricants and is carried out in a clean room environment. The movement is then checked and adjusted for accurate time keeping. The cases are polished and sealed.

Obviously this is not a cheap or quick process which is why our watches are sometimes a little more expensive than others but you can be assured our watches will give you reliable and dependable service and will not require further service for many years.
