Description

A wonderful English Victorian Claret Jug with a beautiful heavy cut crystal body in superb condition, to be really fussy, I have shown one minor graze mentioned purely for accuracy.

The top and handle are made from English silver plate with engraved decoration; the cast handle incorporating a Pineapple motif.

The figural spout is a wonderful feature with a mystical mythical face.

Dating to around 1880, this fine example remains in excellent condition and is ready for use. 9" tall with a base diameter measuring 4 1/2; spanning 7 1/2" from handle to spout.
