A Mahogany George III Style Bachelors Chest

1900 - 1920
Description

A mahogany George III Style bachelors chest. The top of serpentine outline is veneered in beautifully figured mahogany with a darker mahogany banded border. With a traditional moulded edge above a serpentine shaped brushing slide which is lined in green baize. Having four serpentine graduating mahogany drawers with brass swan neck handles and ash drawer linings. The canted corners with blind fret detail, solid mahogany sides and supported on shaped bracket feet. English circa 1920

Dimensions: 32" wide x 20" deep x 29" high

Condition: This chest is in superb condition, cleaned and waxed. A wonderful colour and patination
