Gents 1920s 9ct Gold Cushion Cased Wrist Watch

Description

A 9 carat gold gents cushion cased wrist watch.

The watch has a Swiss hand-winding movement, with 15 jewels, which is working nicely and the time keeping is good to within around two minutes over 24 hours.

The watch measures 31mm wide excluding the winding crown and 31mm high excluding the lugs. The case is 9 carat gold and there are hallmarks inside the case back for Birmingham 1927, with a maker’s mark for the English watch case maker Aaron Dennison. The front of the case has some indentations and a small patch of wear to the bottom corner.

The lens is in good condition.

The white enamel dial with the red number 12 is in very nice condition.

A later brown leather strap has been fitted.
