Description

A rare and unusual large figured mahogany tea caddy from the Regency period. Of sarcophagus form with beaded edge to the top and base. The lid lifts to reveal an interior of 4 tapered containers, each with a sliding lid and worn silver foil interiors, with original lock and escutcheon (no key) and standing on outswept feet with scroll toes. Sizes:- Height...16.5''...42cm. Width...20.5''...52cm. Depth...13''...33cm. Delivery to most of U.K. mainland £30.
