1920s Globe Pocket Watch

Description

1920s Globe pocket watch.

The watch has a Swiss stem-winding movement, signed Globe, which is working nicely and the time keeping is good to within around two minutes over 24 hours. The movement is signed Globe, Swiss, and it is protected by an inner hinged dust cover.

The watch measures 48mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is gold filled and overall the condition is good with just minor marking and a little rubbing to the plate in places.

The watch glass has a couple of little nibbles to the bevelled edge, and some short marks across the main face, but overall it is very acceptable.

The white enamel dial has blued steel hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and an outer minute track.

We are an on-line only business and do not have facilities for callers. Our offices are open from Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.

With regards to appraisals / valuations, we receive a huge number of information requests each day and unfortunately do not have the manpower to deal with them all individually. Our advice would be to contact a local auctioneer for a full appraisal.
