A vintage 1917 Waltham Traveler 10 ct gold filled pocket watch.

The watch has a stem winding movement which is ticking away nicely and the time keeping is within 2 – 3 minutes over a 24 hour period. The movement is signed American Waltham U.S.A. Traveler. And the serial number 21116925 which dates the watch to 1917.

The watch measures 50.3 mm diameter excluding the lugs. The gold filled case is stamped Moon trade mark, A.L.D. Dennison Watch Case Co. English make Guaranteed to be made of two plates of 10 ct gold with plate of composition between and to wear 20 years. The case has light surface marks from use and the odd tiny "ding" but overall it is in nice condition for a 1917 piece.

The watch lens is plastic and is in nice condition.

The dial is signed Waltham and is in nice condition.

The watch has its original blued steel hands.
