Description

A vintage 1939 silver Limit stem winding pocket watch.

The watch has a stem winding movement which is ticking away nicely and the time keeping is within 2 – 3 minutes over a 24 hour period. The high grade movement has a micro regulator and is signed Limit, 17 jewels, Swiss made.

The watch measures 49 mm diameter excluding the stem. The silver case has Birmingham hallmarks for `1939 with the case makers mark A.L.D. (Dennison Watch Case Company).

The case has light surface marks from use and a small "ding" to the outer edge but overall it is in nice condition.

The watch lens is glass and is in nice condition.

The dial is signed Limit with Swiss made at the bottom. The dial is in nice condition.

The watch has its original blued steel hands.
