Description

This wonderful large shaped Pot Pourri box is beautiful quality only to be expected by the well renowned silversmith, William Comyns.

The hinged lid is clearly a Wedding scene with a pair of repousse bells each side of the central panel depicting a horse-drawn carriage with the bride and groom being waved on by well wishers.

The box has a full English hallmark for London 1907, Edwardian in era. Excellent condition, measuring 5 1/4" x 2 7/8" x 1 1/4" tall.
