Description

A wonderful, highly decorative and very early snuff box dating to the late 17th century, around 1680.

Made from polished bronze with a good natural patina, the box is hand engraved an inlaid with a variety of materials including Mother or Pearl shell and Tortoiseshell.

The lid fits well and the hinge is in full working order. Excellent condition, measuring 2 5/8" x 2 1/4" x 1/2".
