Pair of Edwardian Oak Armchairs C.1905.

Description

Fine pair of Edwardian era highback oak office armchairs of Canadian or North American origin c.1905. With an unusually deep shaped board across the shoulders, pierced back splat and shaped arms with scroll detail. Upholstered green leather sea pad over a shaped apron and cabriole front legs joined with turned stretchers. Some wear to the arm tops typical of age and use, otherwise excellent condition, solid and sturdy with recently renewed upholstery.

Dimensions: width 22", depth 24", height 40".
