Description

A fine quality mahogany cased 8 day, 5 pillar long case clock, the brass face with silvered chapter ring, pierced spandrels, strike/silent facility, subsidiary silvered seconds ring, matted centre, original pierced hands and engraved makers name "Conyers Dunlop".

The case made from fine figured mahogany and standing on a double plinth base with applied moulding. The long arched trunk door with original key and escutcheon. The hood with pagoda top and ornate brass sound fret with 3 brass finials above, the sides with a further 2 brass sound frets and 4 turned and fluted columns with brass capitals. The glazed door with original key, lock and escutcheon. Brass cased weights and pendulum and antique winder.

This long case clock has been regularly serviced by the previous owner and is in working condition. The case has been cleaned and waxed.
