Antique William IV Mahogany Writing Table - Desk

Description

This antique William IV mahogany writing table is wonderful quality & could be used as a dressing table or side table too. It dates from the 1830-40 period & is in excellent original condition. It has all the typical William IV features, like the back gallery & the carved corner brackets in the kneehole section. The drawers have fine dovetails & the left hand one is a double drawer. The drawers have nicely turned handles. The mahogany has a nice rich colour & patina, so this piece has plenty of character.

Width - 45.3", 115 cm

Depth - 19.7", 50 cm

Height - 33", 84 cm (30", 76 cm to top of table)

Knee height - 24.8", 63 cm
