Antique Inlaid Mahogany Sideboard

1900 - 1920
Description

This good quality bow fronted mahogany antique sideboard is slim from back to front, plus nice & compact. The top is cross banded & finely inlaid with satinwood & ebony. The drawer fronts & door panels are all flame mahogany with inset bone escutcheons & original brass handles. There is a lot of fine inlay all over the front & it sits on strong tapered spade end legs. The drawers are finely dovetailed too. This sideboard, which I would date to around the 1910-20's period, has lots of character & is in good original condition. It was very well constructed & a very heavy piece of furniture.

Depth - 26", 64 cm

Height - 37", 93 cm
