Description

A 1920s Record 14 ct gold filled full hunter pocket watch.

The watch has a Swiss stem-winding movement which is ticking away and the time keeping is good to within around two minutes over 24 hours. The movement is signed Record Watch Co, Swiss made, 15 jewels, 2 adjustments and it is protected by an inner hinged cover.

The watch measures 52.1mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the loop. The case is 14 ct gold filled, and is made by the English watch case maker Dennison. The case has light scratches and some mild denting but overall is in very acceptable condition for a 1920s piece.

The lens is a later plastic replacement which is in good condition.

The white enamel dial has a faint hairline cracks between 4 & 5 o'clock but otherwise it is in nice condition.

The watch has its original blued steel hands.
