Description

A red lacquer Chinoiserie cellaret on stand. The cellaret section with beautiful raised lacquer detail on a red lacquer ground depicting Oriental life, to both the front, sides and reverse and with a typical engraved lock plate. The hinged lid opening to reveal six bottle compartments, the whole supported on a square stand with painted lacquer detail and block feet with pierced spandrils. English in the Chinese taste circa 1920

Dimensions: 18" wide x 14" deep x 29" high

Condition: This cellaret is in excellent original condition, minor losses to the gilt commensurate with age and use
