Inset burr thuya-wood or root-wood panel top ,with well-carved edge and pierced frieze. Supported on three ''umbrella'' style brackets onto a carved columnar shaft with lobed bulbous section, terminating in three swept legs with carved and incised decoration onto stylised carved claw feet. Heavy quality ''hongmu'' timber of rich dark colour and intensity .
