Large Antique Mahogany Glazed Bookcase on Cupboard

1900 - 1920
Description

This large antique mahogany bookcase is wonderful quality throughout & has many fine details, so please enlarge all the images. I would date it to around the 1910 period & it's in good original condition. The top section has a dental cornice, 2 astral-glazed doors & three carved grooved Corinthian columns. Behind the doors are two separate compartments, each with four adjustable shelves that slide into grooves. In the bottom section are two flame mahogany panelled doors with plenty of storage inside. Above the bottom doors are two separate pull out brushing slides. This is a very heavy solid piece of furniture & it comes apart into two sections for easier transportation.

Depth - 15", 38 cm

Height - 81", 206 cm
