Gents 1940s Regalis Wrist Watch

1920 - 1940
Description

A gents 1940s Regalis wrist watch.

The watch has a Swiss hand-winding movement, with 15 jewels, which is working nicely and the time keeping is good to within around one minute or so over 24 hours.

The watch measures 32.5mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the lugs. The case is plated and there is pitting and marking commensurate with its age. The snap-on case back is stainless steel.

The signed dial is in its original finish and it has charming 1940s appeal with original hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and outer minute markers.

A new brown leather strap has been fitted.

We are an on-line only business and do not have facilities for callers. Our offices are open from Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.

With regards to appraisals / valuations, we receive a huge number of information requests each day and unfortunately do not have the manpower to deal with them all individually. Our advice would be to contact a local auctioneer for a full appraisal.
