Novelty Silver "Dog" Paper Knife by J B Chatterley & Sons, Birmingham 1937

Description

This is rare and delightful George VI silver paperknife is dated Birmingham 1937 and was made by J B Chatterley & Sons Ltd. The solid silver terminal modelled as what appears to be a teckel dog. It is of excellent quality and has a heavy gauge.

The plain tapered blade with clear hallmarks.

Birmingham Assay Mark

Date letter "N" for 1937.

Excellent.
