Antique Omega "Labrador" Half Hunter Pocket Watch

1900 - 1920
Description

An antique half hunter Omega "Labrador" pocket watch, dating back to the late Victorian / Edwardian era.

The watch has a stem-winding movement which is working nicely and the time keeping is good to within around two minutes over 24 hours. The movement is signed Labrador, Swiss and it has the Omega logo on the balance cock. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.

The watch measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The gold plated half hunter case was made by Fahys, a New York based case maker. It is in good condition with just a little unevenness to the case back.

Both of the lens are plastic.

The white enamel dial has three faint hairline cracks, not too noticeable to the naked eye. Blued steel hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and an outer minute track.

We are an on-line only business and do not have facilities for callers. Our offices are open from Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.

With regards to appraisals / valuations, we receive a huge number of information requests each day and unfortunately do not have the manpower to deal with them all individually. Our advice would be to contact a local auctioneer for a full appraisal.
