Description

A 19th Century Teak Letter Box, the top with a generous mould profile above a rectangular body. The front with a posting slot, surrounded by brass scrolled leaf and flower work mount. The lower body with brass lettering 'LETTERS'. To the side there is a locking door to access the posted letters.

A good country house piece.

Date c 1870
