Fowey River Antiques has dated this piece to the 1940s.
It has a platinum case surrounded by diamonds and then the most beautifully designed articulated lugs which simply glides around the wrist. As you would expect from Longines the diamonds are bright, crisp and evenly matched and has the total weight is approximately 2cts.
The design is very much of the Art Deco era.
It retains its original slightly spring platinum bracelet which is fully marked and will fit a wrist size of up to 6.5 inches but this can easily be reduced by any competent jeweller.
The watch case measures 17mm excluding the crown.
It is quite stunning with a white dial which is in perfect mint condition. A new glass has been fitted and it has been professionally cleaned and polished so it is absolutely pristine.
The 17 jewel calibre 320 movement is an absolute gem, sparkling clean and in like new condition, this is a movement from the golden age of Swiss watchmaking.
As you would expect from Longines the watch is fully marked on the dial and movement.
If being over critial there is a very minor dent in one of the links of the bracelet which is photographed but this is hardly noticeable and certainly does not detract from the beauty of the watch at all.
It comes complete with a presentation box to keep your watch in perfect condition.

This watch has been fully and professionally overhauled by the respected watch specialist Alan Williams FBHI, the process is highly detailed and meticulous.
The watch is stripped down to its component parts and each part is examined under a microscope for signs of wear, any worn parts are replaced with genuine manufacturers original parts. every part is then thoroughly cleaned in a 3 stage ultrasonic cleaning process.
The movement is then fully assembled using manufacturer approved oils and lubricants and is carried out in a clean room environment. The watch movement is then checked and adjusted for accurate time keeping. The cases are polished and the watch sealed.
Obviously this is not a cheap or quick process which is why our watches are sometimes a little more expensive than others but you can be assured our watches will give reliable and dependable service and will not require any further attention for many years.
