Gents 1950s Ingersoll Wrist Watch

1940 - 1960
Description

A gents 1950s Ingersoll wrist watch, made in Great Britain.

The watch has a hand-winding movement which is working well and the time keeping is good to within around one minute or so over 24 hours.

The watch measures 32.5mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the lugs. The gold tone case has some marking commensurate with its age.

The design of this watch is unusual in that the numbers and markers are attached to the underneath of the lens, rather that on the dial. The lens has some marks but overall is very acceptable.

The signed two tone dial has plenty of character about it. Original hands (some marking to the hour hand) and red centre seconds hand.

A new black leather strap has been fitted.

We are an on-line only business and do not have facilities for callers. Our offices are open from Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.

With regards to appraisals / valuations, we receive a huge number of information requests each day and unfortunately do not have the manpower to deal with them all individually. Our advice would be to contact a local auctioneer for a full appraisal.
