French Louis Xvi Style Oromolu & Engraved Glass Centrepiece

Description

A fine quality French ormolu twin handled centrepiece, circa 1880 in Louis XVI Style, the foliate engraved bowl with fluted rim mounted on a gilt bronze base cast with cherubs holding a garland, the twin foliate scroll handles suspended with foliate cast rings.

A very good quality piece in excellent condition, the gilding remains nice and bright and with no chipping or damage to the glass.

22cm high x 29cm wide.
