Vintage 1910s Kay's "Screwback" Lever Pocket Watch

1900 - 1920
Description

A vintage 1910s Kay's "Screwback" Lever pocket watch.

The watch has a stem-winding movement which is ticking away and the time keeping is good to around 2 - 3 minutes over 24 hours. The jewelled movement is stamped Kay & Co Ltd, Swiss made.

The watch measures 54 mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the loop. The chrome plated nickel case has general surface marks from use but otherwise it is in nice condition.

The watch lens is glass and has the odd faint surface mark but otherwise it is in nice condition.

The dial is signed Kay's "Screwback" Lever with Swiss made at the bottom. The dial is in nice condition with only the odd minor mark.

The watch has its original blued steel hands.

Price includes worldwide postage.

We are an on-line only business and do not have facilities for callers. Our offices are open from Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.

With regards to appraisals / valuations, we receive a huge number of information requests each day and unfortunately do not have the manpower to deal with them all individually. Our advice would be to contact a local auctioneer for a full appraisal.
