A rare and unusual Venetian Grotto occasional chair. Sometimes referred to as "Fantasy Furniture" this walnut chair has stylised scallop shells for the back and seat with mythical sea serpent open arms. It stands on 4 legs each with carved seaweed decoration. In very good condition, no breaks, loose joints or woodworm. Sizes:- Height...35.5''...90cm. Max.Width...25''...63.5cm. Depth...25''63.5cm. Seat Height...15''...38cm. Seat Depth...20''...51cm. Free delivery to most of U.K. mainland.
