ANTIQUE #SA331315

An Edwardian Hallmarked Sterling Silver And Glass Hip Flask By Mosley, Flowers & Co

Status: This item has been sold
Sold by: TJR Trading

This is an Edwardian silver and writhen glass hip flask. It was assayed in 1910/11 in London and made by Mosley, Flowers & Co.

It is hallmarked to the collar of the cap, and also to the base. The cap and the base both have engine turned decoration and the inside of the base is gilded.

It is 12cm tall and weighs a total of 286g.

The glass is in good condition with no craks or chips. The top of the lid has become slightly bent and the screw function of the cap does not keep the lid perfectly locked shut, though shouldn''t stop it being used upright in a pocket.

The maker''s mark on the neck is a bit rubbed but the rest of the hallmarks are clear. There are a couple of dents to the silver.

All items come with free shipping throughout the UK. They will be sent using a recorded or signed for service such as Royal Mail's Special Delivery.

For other international buyers I have added postage costs to the listings.
