Description

A most unusual and decorative Victorian Claret jug made from hand blown glass with a polished pontil mark to the underside and a wonderful glass handle.

The top has a figural silver mount (this silver actually tests as English sterling but is unmarked so can only be described as white metal) with a fabulous face incorporated into the spout.

Excellent condition with the base diameter measuring 4 3/4" and standing 10 5/8" tall. Dating to the late Victorian era, around 1890.
