Puckerings has dated this piece to the 1900s.
The bowl stands on three stunning ball and claw feet, most unusual.
The front is mounted with a large shaped presentation mount, vacant and untouched.

The bowl comes complete with the original and undamaged ceramic creamware liner (fine crazing and minor discoloration) and the pair of original servers with Oak handles and gilded bowls. It is unusual when they are the correct original servers, these ones with matching marks to the bowl for the silversmith, Daniel & Arter.

All in excellent condition dating to around 1890 / 1900. Spanning 11 1/4" handle to handle, the ceramic liner having a diameter measuring 8 1/2"; standing 5 1/4" tall to top of handle; the servers measuring 11 1/2" long.
