A Fine Victorian Six Drawer Collectors Cabinet in Figured Honduras Mahogany Circa 1880.

Description

This is a superb mahogany collectors cabinet of small proportions and is ideal for many collecting pursuits. It will serve for jewellery, watches, pens, medals, etc, etc.this cabinet comes in the category of 'table top' or side table as it is 16.25 inches in height.

The quality of build is exceptionally high and the choice of timber is select. The cabinet is faced with figured honduras mahogany and the door divider and knobs are all in ebony.

The drawers have been relined with clean white acid free cartridge paper and are ready for use. The base layer of each drawer under the paper is cork for fixing and pinning to.each drawer has a closely fitting, glazed, lift off frame.

The lock and key are original and work perfectly and the drawers run smoothly on hidden bearer runners.

Width. 19.25 inches.

Front to back. 15.25 inches.

Drawers.

Width. 17 inches.

Front to back. 13 inches.

Overall depth. 2 inches.
