Description

Elegant George IV mahogany extending dining table c.1825. Solid ¾" thick mahogany leaves of excellent quality timber with a deep thumb moulded edge. On a telescopic frame extending from 41" to 80" total length with two removable leaves to seat 8-10 people. On slim shaped and turned legs, typical of this earlier period, raised on brass and porcelain castors. As an extra feature it is worth noting that, rather than making a square, this table closes to an unusually small 41”x 50” supper table. Excellent colour and condition, cleaned and polished in our workshops.
