Rare French Carriage Clock in Cast "Bambu" Case

Description

A very good quality and unusual French CARRIAGE CLOCK in a cast brass "Bambu" case.

Completely original, the eight-day movement retains its original lever platform escapement and strikes hours and half-hours on a gong. It is contained within the rare "Bambu" case, and is in perfect working order.

As with all our clocks it is guaranteed for at least two years. ** A carriage clock with an identical case can be found illustrated in "Carriage Clock" by Charles Allix & Peter Bonnert, page 175 Plate VII/32.
