Description

A splendid large Edwardian carved wooden chess set complete with wooden storage box, having been professionally re-polished.

The black pieces are a combination of turned Ebony and Ebonised Boxwood and the white pieces created from turned and carved Boxwood. They are well weighted and a really grand size, a good substantial set to play with, the king measuring 3 3/4" tall.

Excellent condition with storage box measuring 8 1/2 x 5" x 3 1/2".
