A Superb Large Mahogany Inlaid Victorian Period Chest of Drawers

1900 - 1920
Description

A superb quality Late Victorian Period large mahogany inlaid chest of drawers. Having a rectangular top in beautifully figured solid mahogany with a thumb moulded edge, above an arrangement of four mahogany lined graduating drawers. Each having exquisite marquetry and pen-work inlaid detail and beautifully cast brass swan neck handles. The drawers retain their original Hobbs & Co, London locks, escutcheons and with working key. The ends also in beautifully figured solid mahogany with satinwood cross banded detail. The whole supported on a solid mahogany rectangular plinth English circa 1890-1900

Dimensions: 48" wide x 22" deep x 50" high

Condition: This chest of drawers is in excellent condition, re-polished in our workshops.
