Pair of Antique Swedish Satin Birch Armchairs

1900 - 1920
Description

This pair of antique Swedish Satinbirch armchairs are fabulous quality & are very comfortable, because they have very generous proportions & nice plump cushions. They have just come over from Sweden & have been polished & upholstered. The solid Satinbirch frames have that typical silky finish, with the light & darker shades within the wood. The frames have a lovely shape all around the upholstery & they have classically carved shaped legs. I would say they date to around the 1910 period, or they may be even older. This model is very hard to find & they will fit in with traditional or contemporary settings.

Depth - 32.3", 82 cm

Height - 32", 81 cm

Seat height - 19", 48 cm
