Masons Antiques has dated this piece to the 1890s.
It is made by LENZKIRCH, one of the World renowned makers of quality clocks.
It has a beautiful, clear melodic tone. It has just been totally overhauled by our BHI registered staff.

The pagoda shaped case is to behold, having fluted, canted corners inlaid with brass to the lower half in the style of top London bracket clocks. The glazed, key lockable door has inset brass quarters at the top and brass surround to the glazing. It has fretted sound panels to the sides, again with brass surrounds. It has 4 brass finials to the top and stands on 4 swept brass bracket feet.

The brass dial has a matted centre and gilt spandrels to the corners. The silvered chapter ring has black Roman numerals interspaced with fleur-de-lis and fine cut black hands.
