Masons Antiques has dated this piece to the 1890s.
The 8 day movement strikes on the half-hour and the hour with a clean, resonating sound. It has just been fully serviced by our BHI registered staff.
The mahogany case is nicely polished and has a nice warm patina. It stands on 4 brass bun feet.
The 6" silvered dial has black Roman numerals with a heavy cast brass bezel and convex glass.
