Description

A fabulous large inkwell, made from a hefty piece of English crystal having been intricately cut on the sides and shoulders, with a polished pontil mark on the underside showing it was hand blown.

The collar and grand domed hinged lid is made from English sterling silver with a hallmark for London 1915, celebrating 100 years this year. The makers mark is also present for the silversmith, Army & Navy Cooperative Society Ltd.

Excellent undamaged condition measuring 3" square x 4 1/2" tall to top of lid.
